New Features in NES-Inspired World

In Game News by Connor VanDyke

So with a new world planned for the end of the month, there is a lot of work to be done getting new features for the world implemented. Some of you may have noticed some of the new features introduced in the second world, like the ability for the camera to scroll vertically. The NES-inspire world has even more to deliver!

And it’s in color!

Some of the major planned features are as follows:

  • Slopes in the terrain
  • Variable jumping (Hold the button longer to jump higher)
  • Crouching
  • Player momentum (Takes a moment to slow to a stop instead of having it happen instantly)
  • Power-ups (To be revealed at a later date)
  • Smart Camera
  • More???

Keep in mind that things can always change during development, so if we feel like a feature does not add to the gameplay, we might cut it or modify it to work differently. Any other features you want to see? Let us know on Facebook or Twitter and we might look at working them into the game!
